The winter storm & the resulting/enduring really cold weather from it have been... taxing, to say the least. Thankfully, we have heat & enough food/blankets/clothes/etc., but it's been very confining! You can't really go out for walks when everything's ice and you don't have winter shoes with good grip.

And tomorrow afternoon through Sunday morning the wind chill is going to be in the negative ºF... I am... worried!

It's been pretty bad over here, not in the negatives but the snow is still piled up. We're supposed to get temps in the 30s next week, though, which is...an improvement.

The 30s is definitely an improvement! It's at least... above freezing?

It looks like we might get some days in the 40s within the next week, which I'm definitely looking forward to. I would like... less ice...

Phew, I'm sorry you have to deal with the cold now. For a whole week, Chicago was dealing with frigid and dangerous temperatures like that, too. Thankfully my unit had central heat and it wasn't too bad to deal with, but like you said, it's confining when you can't comfortably and safely travel outdoors. Here's hoping you're surviving the wind chill this weekend and the following weekend is easier on you.
