Episode 1: So elves, dragons and other fantasy creatures protected the realm but one day disappeared.
A thousand years later, the grand magician Raim reappeared. Buck naked. I was going to say 'at least there are no people around' but there's a dude with a whole bunch of eyes watching from afar lmao.
Huh, I forgot Raim is one of 24 grand magicians, there's even a picture. They can infuse 12 different types of magic. Raim was known for his magic equipment.
His friend and pupil Grain is long gone. :(
Episode 1-3: So is the stuff Raim is studying magic he never had access to or updated magic because of the new technology?
Episode 4: Raim senses another Dream Walker and decides to make them his apprentice, only to realize this world still has slavery when he goes to find them.
It's almost like the author is calling out those webtoons where the MC buys slaves. He instead goes and opens the cages to let them take the first step themselves.
The dreamer is a boy and he's with his sister, both are disabled and Raim decides to take them both if they want.
Just like Yeldria in 'It Seems Like I Fell into a Reverse Harem Game', Raim realizes that just releasing slaves doesn't mean they're safe, you question whether you have a responsibility to make sure they find a safe place after/
Episode 5: After showing the slaves dreams of possible futures, they all escape. Poor Veriare saw a horrible dream.
Episode 6: Lmao was Veriare going to go through with...the thing he thought Raim was going to do to heal him?
For Raim it's not just about being teacher/student, it's about becoming family. Man, I'm glad there was no flashback for Grain while he was alive, that's too sad to think about.
I do wish Raim had asked Veriere if she wanted her eyes healed. Was she always blind or did their hardships bring it about?
She does agree to it after hearing more. "Please take care of my eyes."
The MC is 'glazed' in this webtoon as the kids say but at least it's equal opportunity.
